Republican-Eagle: Music for all - Strings, Winds and Brass showcase has something for everyone

Sounds and songs from all over the world will fill the Sheldon Theatre on April 7 during the Strings, Winds & Brass variety showcase.

The annual event gives students from Southeast Technical College an opportunity to showcase their musical abilities.

Isabel Collins will be playing the trumpet in two bands, Fish House Punch and Brass Scrap Jamboree. The Oakdale, Minn., resident said she was excited about the opportunity of playing the trumpet in these uniquely different bands, an instrument she learned when she was in middle school.
