Minnesota State College Southeast event hopes to connect high school students with potential employers this week

A partnership of schools, government agencies and private organizations are teaming up this week to give high school seniors a leg up in entering the workforce.
On Friday, the school districts of Caledonia, La Crescent, Rushford-Peterson and Lewiston-Altura are sending around 260 seniors to Minnesota State College Southeast in Winona for Seniors Career Day to get information on career planning, resumes, personal finance and job finding tools, among other things.
In addition, local employers will be on hand to do mock interviews as practice for the real thing.
