Winona Post: 1,500 teens gather for Student Career Expo

Nathaniel Nelson, 11/19/2018

On Friday morning, the Minnesota State College Southeast (MSCS) campus was filled to the brim with panels, booths, and businesses preparing to showcase their companies to hundreds of bright young minds. The stage was set for the sixth annual Student Career Expo, an initiative of the Winona Area Chamber of Commerce Business Education Network (BEN) to provide students with a closer look and deeper understanding of career opportunities in the region.

Eighty-five separate businesses in the Winona area came together to present a trade show-like interactive exhibition, with careers in manufacturing, technology, health care, human resources, civil services, multimedia services and more all getting their time in the limelight.
