Two rural long-term care providers in southeast Minnesota are about to get some help with training and development thanks to a state grant.
Southeast Technical College and the Minnesota Job Skills Partnership plan to finalize a grant Thursday that will provide training and professional development to nearly 200 employees at two nursing home facilities in the region.
The grant, in the amount of $260,000 over two-and-a-half years, is being awarded to Tweeten Lutheran Healthcare Center in Spring Grove and Harmony Community Healthcare in Harmony.
