Why MSC Southeast

Winona panorama

Winona Campus and Community

Winona (pop. 27,000) lies on the banks of the Mississippi River with a backdrop of beautiful high bluffs and lush countryside. The town is located about 45 miles east of Rochester, Minnesota and 30 miles north of LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Winona's three institutions of higher learning - Minnesota State College Southeast, Winona State University, and Saint Mary's University of Minnesota - add to the educational experiences available. The Minnesota Marine Art Museum, the Great River Shakespeare Festival, Mid West Music Fest and many other cultural amenities make Winona an exceptional place to live and learn.

The Winona campus is located on the south end of town, just off the corner of Highways 61 and 43. There are 3 public buildings on 71 acres. Sugar Loaf Bluff is just across Highway 43 from the campus. (directions)
