3% Tuition increase may affect student account status - please check your balance

On June 19th, 2019 the Minnesota State College approved a 3% tuition increase for two year colleges. For Minnesota State College Southeast this means an increase of $5.01 per credit. The tuition rate went from $167.29 per credit last year, to $172.30 per credit for the 2019-2020 academic year. All mandatory fees will remain the same.

Unfortunately, we cannot release the new rates until the Board of Trustees of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities has officially approved them, which sometimes is after the start of a semester or after some have already registered for future semesters. This can cause additional amounts added to student accounts after they were fully paid at the old rate, leaving a small additional balance due.

Please check your account balance via eServices to ensure your account is current and up to date. Should you have any questions or concerns please contact the college business office or Student Services for additional help.
