AUDITION for Strings, Winds & Brass!

This Spring Semester, Minnesota State College Southeast is presenting a show at the historic Sheldon Theatre in Red Wing called Strings, Winds & Brass. This is an incredible opportunity for us to get together and share our talents with each other and the community at large. This year's show is on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 4 pm.

All kinds of acts are welcome to participate. Past shows have featured various brass ensembles, jazz bands, Celtic groups, old-timey and bluegrass bands, and singer-songwriters -- not to mention a hurdy-gurdy punk band and heavy metal cello duet!

AUDITIONS for Strings, Winds & Brass are on Wednesday, February 16, from 10:30 am to 12 Noon at the Red Wing campus. Any student, staff, or faculty member of the college may audition.  A group must have at least one person from the college. While past shows have mainly featured Red Wing campus acts, people from the Winona campus are encouraged to audition too.

The deadline to sign up for auditions is on Friday, February 11 at 12 noon. You can print off an audition form attached to this email, or pick one up at the Front Desk. Please submit an audition form as early as possible if you're interested!

Even if you're not interesting in performing - please save the date for April 10 at the Sheldon, and we'll see you at the show!
