Section A: College Information and Policies

Student Handbook Updates 

Campus policies are reviewed annually and some policies may be changed, added, or deleted. Such changes generally occur prior to the start of the academic year, however some may occur throughout the year. Each change will be listed on this page and dated for your reference, with new policies effective as of the date listed.

This section serves as a summary of changes that may impact students and a link to the new or updated policy. Policy changes will remain on their pages for one year from the date listed.

The college reserve the right to change policy without notice, however it is our practice and goal to inform the community of changes prior to their implementation.

  • 12/3/2021: SAP Credit Review has been updated to exclude remedial credits from the completion percentage measurement of satisfactory academic progress. 
  • 1/18/2022: The Academic Forgiveness policy now gives a student who has been away from MSC Southeast at least one year a one-time opportunity to establish a new grade point average.
