Review the information in the Tuition and Billing section of the website under Paying for College for additional information.
Tuition Rates
All students shall pay the tuition rates established annually by the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities in accordance with Minnesota State Policy 3.2.1.0 for MSC Southeast courses, unless exempt from tuition as permitted by statute or policy. No fees shall be charged unless approved by the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities in accordance with Minnesota State Policy 3.2.2.0.
Tuition
- The tuition rate for both resident and non-resident students is the same. See Tuition and Billing for the current cost.
- Some programs and courses may have differential tuition costs to offset additional program expenditures. See: Tuition Differentials
Reduced Tuition for Senior Citizens
Minnesota resident citizens 62 years of age or older may attend college courses at a reduced tuition rate on a space-available basis. Senior citizens may register during the drop/add period the day following the first day of class. Courses taken for credit will be charged a $15.00 administrative fee and other required fees. Courses taken for audit (receive no credit) do not pay the administrative fee but are responsible for other required fees.
Verification of senior citizen status and residency will be required. Upon course registration each term, please contact the Student Success office to confirm senior citizen rate.
Fees
Minnesota State College Southeast has established a fee structure for students. Fees may change and others may apply. See the Fees page in the Paying for College section of the website for detailed information.
Parking Fee: In response to state statute, the college assesses a parking fee to support the cost of annual and long term parking facility maintenance and renewal. This includes the use of motorcycles. Parking will be enforced from 7 am to 10 pm, Monday through Friday. The student parking fee is set at $1.50 per credit up to a maximum of $24 per term. No fees are currently charged for summer term.
