In this essential role, you'll be responsible for operating a semi-truck to deliver and merchandise GPC products to our valued customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Work Schedule:
- Be home every evening, night, and weekend—no overnight hauls.
- Enjoy a four-day workweek (10-hour shifts) between Monday and Friday, with one designated weekday off.
- Start time is 5:00 AM.
A day in the life of a Class A CDL Driver:
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to safely deliver products to a designated customer route.
- Unload and check in products and ensure accurate delivery quantities with store personnel.
- Merchandise product at designated stops to ensure shelves are well-stocked and displays meet GPC standards.
- Serve as the face of GPC, fostering strong relationships with store teams and maintaining a positive brand image.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns on-site professionally.
- Maintain compliance with all DOT, company, and safety policies and regulations.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
What does it take to succeed as a Class A CDL driver?
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with a strong safety history
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently
- Prior experience with product delivery, merchandising, or route sales is a plus but not required
- A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service

Work Schedule
- Work every or every other Saturday and/or Sunday
- Shifts are approximately 5-8 hours long
- Start time is 5am or 6am, based on store requirements
"A day in the life of a Part Time Merchandiser looks like:"
- Stocking GPC beverages at assigned customer accounts by refilling product on shelves, end caps, displays, and coolers to ensure GPC's beverages are well represented.
- Set up and maintain product displays to meet GPC's merchandising standards
- Rotating product utilizing the first- in, first out (FIFO) method.
- Represent GPC by building strong relationships with store staff and customers
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
What does it take to be a Part Time Merchandiser?
- Actively pursuing or possess a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Have reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
