We specialize in violin, viola, cello, and bass — offering sales, rentals, repairs, and professional setups.  We’re a small, passionate team that takes pride in the quality of our work and the relationships we build with our customers.

The Role
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Setup & Repair Technician to join our Peachtree City team. You’ll be the hands-on expert responsible for keeping instruments playing their best — from student rentals coming back off the road to
fine instruments deserving careful attention.  Please note: This position is based in Peachtree City, GA. Candidates outside the area will be expected to relocate prior to or shortly after hire. Some relocation assistance will be provided.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform professional setups on violin, viola, cello, and bass (nut and saddle fitting, bridge fitting and carving, soundpost adjustment, fingerboard planing, peg fitting)
  • Inspect, assess, and repair instruments from our rental fleet and customer-owned instruments
  • Rehair and repair bows across the violin family
  • Evaluate incoming instruments for quality, condition, and resale value
  • Communicate repair estimates and timelines clearly with customers and staff
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop workspace
  • Assist with instrument and accessory sales as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in violin family setup and repair
  • Proficiency in bow rehair is strongly preferred
  • Formal luthiery training is a plus
  • Strong eye for detail and genuine care for instrument quality
  • Ability to work independently and manage a repair queue efficiently
  • Good communication skills — you’ll interact with customers and staff regularly
  • Experience in a retail music shop environment is a plus
What We Offer
  • Full-time position with consistent hours
  • A supportive, instrument-focused work environment
  • Opportunity to grow with an established and expanding shop
  • Competitive pay based on experience
