We are seeking a dynamic self-starter who will pride themselves in representing our organization. Must have the ability to quickly and efficiently diagnose problems, identify solutions, and complete repairs on Woodwind and Brass instruments for both customers and in-house school rental inventory. Familiarity with orchestral stringed instruments and percussion is a PLUS however is not required. Must have your own basic hand tools. A MIG Welder I to facilitate the production of company products and custom orders. 

Pay: Competitive compensation based on skills and experience

 Schedule: 1st Shift - 5:00 am to 3:30 pm M-Th (up to 5:30 pm with OT), Fridays as needed.

What You’ll Do

Under the direct supervision of the department supervisor/team lead, you will fabricate daily orders.

What We Need From You

  • Competent in welding technique and integrity – MIG
  • Ability to set up and operate equipment/machinery with minor assistance
  • Ability to adjust machine to appropriate thickness
  • Ability to position pieces into jigs, fixtures, and guides using measuring instruments and hand tools
  • Produce product to quality standards 
  • Work toward meeting the 3 cabinet per hour minimum 
  • Ability to follow demonstrated or written work instructions 
  • Machine/material knowledge – operations, light maintenance, safety requirements
  • Ability to follow direction from trainers and/or supervisor 
  • Requires assistance in blue print reading

 Education/Experience And Must Haves

  • 1 + years of experience MIG welding
  • Knowledge of metalworking industry, equipment, and processes.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. 

 Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, or sit for long periods of time. 
  • Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures. 
  • Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
