Miscellaneous Information
MK Music Repair is a small one-person shop, with two part-time High School age assistants, in Owatonna, Minnesota, a town of approximately 26,000 people. I am looking for a full-time technician who is willing to repair both brass and woodwind instruments. Being able to do basic string instrument repair would be a plus but it is not required. I go out on the road two days a week calling on about 40 schools. At first the new hire would be in the shop 5 days a week while I am on the road but eventually would also do some road routes as I am looking to expand the number of schools we visit each week. My long-term goal is to hire a technician, mentor them for 5 years and then have them take over the shop so this is not only a repair job but a path to owning your own shop. Please contact me by phone of email if you are interested in this type of position. Mark Kuklok, 1991 Redwing Graduate
