This year Minnesota State College Southeast honored 50 years of teaching lutherie - the art of string instrument repair. We invited alumni, past faculty, prospective students, and anyone interested in music to Red Wing to celebrate our Guitar Repair & Building and Violin Repair & Making programs at special events in May 2025.

Alumni musical instrument display

Student Guitar Show, Room 314
Display of student-made flattop, archtop, and classical guitars plus mandolins, electric guitars, and basses
Acoustic instruments will be played in concert by professional guitarists Mike Cramer, Phil Heywood, and Chris Silver
