How to begin as an online student

We are glad that you have chosen to further your education at Minnesota State College Southeast. The following steps will help you through the application and enrollment processes.  If you have questions at any time, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we can help you through the process.

Application

There are forms and information the college needs from you to get you placed into our system. Our admissions page will walk you through each step from applying to the college, registering for courses, ordering books, and paying tuition.

Orientation and Tutorials

Distance learning, specifically online learning, is often new to students. MSC Southeast wants you to become familiar with the process to help you become a successful online learner. If you are new to online learning, please take time to attend an onsite D2L Brightspace orientation or view the web information about Desire2Learn (D2L).

Order Books and Materials

Books and materials for each class can be easily ordered online. Please visit the Online Bookstore for more information.
