Computers

In most cases, you can use the computer you already have for online learning. However, a Windows PC or laptop is definitely preferred. (Apple products may not run all software and using Chromebooks is strongly discouraged.) If you do wish to purchase a new computer for your coursework, be sure to check out the latest computer recommendations from our Information Technology department.

If you require a new computer for your education, and funding is an issue, please contact our Academic Support Center for available options.

Software

Most courses will require only Microsoft Office software. Southeast students are granted Microsoft Office licenses for free. Read the Microsoft Office Download & Install instructions to learn how to activate your license.

Some courses will require additional software. Your course syllabus will outline what software you need and how to download and run those programs.
