The Online Student Handbook is intended to help you navigate your college experience. These guidelines will help you understand the college's expectations for successful completion of your goals.

The Student Handbook presents the policies, procedures and general information in effect at time of publication on our website. The information in the handbook, catalog, website, and other publications issued do not constitute a contract. The college reserves the right to change policies, procedures, fees, etc., at any time.

In many cases more detailed information about college policies and procedures can be found elsewhere in the website. When that is the case, we will link to pages where additional information can be found.

Minnesota State College Southeast is a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. As such, the college's policies and procedures are aligned with those of Minnesota State.


Campus policies are reviewed annually and some policies may be changed, added, or deleted. Such changes generally occur prior to the start of the academic year, however some may occur throughout the year. Each change will be listed on the Updates web page and dated for your reference, with new policies effective as of the date listed.
