Financial Aid Timeline

Planning ahead is essential when it comes to Financial Aid. Many students don’t realize that there are several actions you need to take before you can receive your financial aid award. Look below for the term you plan to start and complete all of the steps within the recommended timeline.

October-July

• Complete FAFSA

• Schedule appointment with FA if needed

• Apply for Fall Foundation Scholarship (Due June 1)

April–July

• Submit requested documents

• Check student eServices account 

July and August

• Review and act on your award

• Check student eServices account

• Book charging begins

• Apply for Spring Foundation Scholarship (Due Sept. 30)

• Review class schedule to verify class start dates and locations

September

• Aid applies to accounts

• First disbursement day
